As an Investment Advisor and Portfolio Manager with 25 years of investment industry experience, Mark helps high net worth families articulate and accomplish their life goals. One of the most important aspects of Mark’s role in working with clients is to understand their history and their vision, and to re-engage them regularly to determine if any significant changes have occurred. By doing this, a comprehensive wealth management strategy is created with appropriate adjustments over time.
Mark and Anne O’Farrell will be working together to manage overall investment policy and asset management strategy for the Latremoille Begg Group. Mark enjoys discussing capital markets, and the dynamic economic and investment landscape, so that educated investment decisions can be made.
Mark holds the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation, the most respected, globally recognized credential in the investment industry.
In addition to the CFA, Mark is a registered Portfolio Manager. He has both his Derivative and Options licenses, and has successfully completed the Partners, Directors, and Senior Officers course (PDO). As a licensed Branch Manager Mark previously managed the Richardson GMP Toronto office. Mark was elected by his fellow Partners to the Richardson GMP Ltd. Board of Directors for seven years. He holds ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors. Mark graduated from Bishop’s University with a degree in Economics and Finance.
Mark was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. He was an avid rugby player for several decades and is a lifelong sailor. He and his wife Gail, have three young children and spend their free time cycling, skiing, and playing enthusiastically competitive board games together. They also enjoy experiencing new cultures on family vacations.
