Marc Beauchamp
Vice President, Portfolio Manager

With a high degree of youthful energy, Marc Beauchamp focuses on advising very high net worth families and helping to managing our suite of model portfolios. He studied Economics at the Université de Quebec and then Criminology at the Université de Montréal. His true inspiration to become a broker was his father and many other family members who work in investing and finance.

Marc began his career in 1986 doing summer jobs that exposed him to every aspect of the business, from courier messenger, to manning the bond desk, to holding back-office positions. His first position as an Investment Advisor was with Brault Guy O’Brien in 1988 following the October ‘87 crash, which helped him adopt a healthy respect for risk management. Marc joined the RBC Dominion Securities in 1990; moved to Midland Walwyn in 1998, which evolved into Merrill Lynch/CIBC Wood Gundy; and then joined Richardson GMP early in 2005. Marc earned his Portfolio Manager’s designation in January 2013 – a major career milestone. He also holds his options license. Marc is passionate about being an entrepreneur, helping people by quarterbacking their financial decisions and insuring the continuity of services to the future generations of our clients.

Marc rarely unwinds. Almost every year, he participates in the Charles Bruneau Foundation cycle to combat pediatric cancer. He and his wife have two teenaged daughters who are heavily involved in competitive skiing; Marc is involved in all aspects of ski competition as a volunteer.

Robert Tranchemontagne
Vice President, Investment Advisor

Robert studied Business Administration at HEC University before owning and operating his own businesses for 15 years in the garment trade and then working as a partner in the meat distribution and refrigerated transport businesses. In 1993, Robert entered the investment industry and has enjoyed 21 long years advising investors with great enthusiasm and top-tier service at leading firms such as Burns Fry, Option Retraite, Merrill Lynch Canada and CIBC Wood Gundy before joining Richardson GMP in December 2004.

An individual who takes great pleasure in having regular contact with clients and offering them different investment solutions, Robert’s approach is to understand each client’s specific needs before advising them on their financial decisions. He has developed specialized expertise in financial planning, estate planning and tax minimization.

For more than five years, Robert was involved with the Charles-Bruneau Foundation, which fights pediatric cancer. In January 2004, he took on the challenge of climbing and summiting Mount Kilimanjaro to benefit the Breast Cancer Foundation.

Antoine Niding
Associate Investment Advisor

Prior to joining the BNTP group in May 2012, Antoine started is investment advisor career at National Bank Financial for the first two years. Conservative in nature, Antoine works with business owners. Having managed his own multimedia company building medical education programs for pharmaceutical companies. Antoine loves challenges.

Antoine distinguished himself by offering quality service. Visiting his clients every month is one of his priorities. By the same token, Antoine works closely with his clients and their team of experts, as well as Richardson GMP’s to reduce the fiscal impact of their business.
