Jim is a Chartered Financial Analyst. He manages the portfolio and investment strategy for clients by using a strong fundamental approach and technical analysis. With over 40 years of relevant industry experience in investment banking, institutional sales and private wealth management, Jim works well with sophisticated High Net Worth clients who value his ability to source the best new ideas from the vast pool of research and trading opportunities.
Mark has over 20 years of experience in the investment industry and began his career at GMP Securities in 1997 where he spent 6 years working on the trading desk, trading securities for institutional and retail investors. In 2005, he joined GMP Private Client (now Richardson GMP) to continue serving institutions and high net worth individual investors. Mark has gained invaluable trading experience in his prior roles which he applies daily when managing trade execution and special situations for clients, which continues to remain his primary focus.
Mark is a licensed Registered Representative and has successfully completed various certifications including Professional Financial Planning and Trader Training.
Brenan Formosa is focused on providing personalized service to our clients and has a passion for generating new ideas that lead to wealth creation and capital preservation. Brenan incorporates both fundamental and technical analysis into his investment strategy. He enjoys working with high net worth clients whom have complex financial, tax, and estate planning issues and believes this is a core value add to clients.
While studying Finance at the Rowe School of Business, Brenan started working at Richardson GMP in January 2015 as a Co-Op student in both the Toronto and Halifax offices. These experiences were invaluable to Brenan’s professional career as he’s become well aligned with Richardson GMP’s core ideals, practices, and beliefs. Throughout university, Brenan maintained an active role in both the Dalhousie Investment Society and the Dalhousie Real Estate Society. Brenan is also a CFA Level III Candidate and is working to obtain his Portfolio Manager designation.
In Brenan’s personal time, he stays active by playing golf, hockey, and softball. He also enjoys getting outdoors by way of camping and cottaging.
Grace started at Richardson GMP as a temporary assistant in January 2018 and has been a member of the Gellman-Ramage Wealth Management team ever since. Originally from Australia, Grace has a Bachelor of Fine Arts with First Class Honours from Queensland University of Technology. She has a wide range of administrative and communication skills from her experience in wealth management, publishing and education. Grace recently completed the Canadian Securities Course.
