In my role as a portfolio manager, I provide my clients and their families highly personalised service grounded in experience and expertise. With a BA in Political Science and Economics from the University of Western Ontario and a Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation, as well as almost twenty years of experience in the investment industry, I offer specialised knowledge honed by thorough, proven practice.
My priority is building relationships that can grow long-term investment rewards, and it has been my pleasure to work with different generations of the same families. Adhering to principles of accessibility, trust and open dialogue, I not only ensure authentic alignment with my clients’ portfolios but strive to support them with the highest degree of individualised attention and integrity.
My approach to wealth management is holistic and draws on the rich collective expertise of Richardson GMP’s in-house team of lawyers, accountants, insurance and tax specialists. My advice to clients highlights the value of goal-based investing – establishing fixed costs and aims before constructing a portfolio designed to meet the client’s individual needs – as well as diversified investing with a global focus. I believe that performance should be measured by the fulfilment of specific goals, rather than by indices which may not be directly relevant to a client's portfolio. In all aspects, I am guided by my clients’ personal objectives to provide a fully customised service at all levels.
