A native of Calgary, Nick has been in the investment industry since 1993 and is a Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) and a Portfolio Manager. Nick joined Macquarie Private Wealth in 2011, which was acquired by Richardson GMP in 2013. Previously he worked at HSBC Securities for more than fourteen years and was a Vice President of the firm. He is the Past Board Chair of the Calgary Military Family Resource Centre which provides support to Military Families in Southern Alberta and the current Board Chair of The Military Museums Foundation which has a mandate to promote and provide educational programs at the Military Museums. Nick is also the Past-President of the Sunalta Community Association.
Brenden joined the Twyman Wealth Group in February of 2014. Brenden currently assists the team in individual company analysis, portfolio construction and maintenance, as well as assisting with the development of portfolio model mandates and equity screening and ranking models. Brenden is a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation, CFA®, achieving his charter in February of 2017. For more information on the CFA designation, please visit the CFA Institute. Brenden is also fully options licensed. Prior to his work with Richardson GMP, Brenden interned at an investment counselling firm during the summer of 2013.
Brenden graduated in May of 2011 from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Economics. He is an avid sports player and fan, and played hockey competitively since the age of 5. He was drafted to the Sudbury Wolves of the Ontario Hockey League in the 2005, and played a few years of Junior A hockey in Ontario, where he grew up, before attending Western.
