Nevin has been Branch Manager of the Vancouver office of Richardson GMP and its predecessor firms, Macquarie Private Wealth and Blackmont Capital, since 2006. One of many notable achievements in his extensive background in the financial industry was managing the investments and developing and implementing an award-winning international investment policy for a large B.C. public sector company. Moving on to a major bank-owned firm, Nevin successfully became Branch Manager and achieved recognition as a member of the President's Council in addition to receiving the Director's Award. Nevin’s professional credentials include designations as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). His industry affiliations include membership in the CFA Institute and the Vancouver Society of Financial Analysis. Nevin is committed to his community and enjoyed serving a three-year term on the Board of Directors of the SurreyCares Community Foundation, including one year as President. He is also an active supporter of the Canucks Autism Network, a British Columbia-based charity that provides much-needed support and programs for individuals and families coping with the challenges of life on the autism spectrum. With personal interests that include boating, fishing, travel and photography, it’s no wonder the Canucks’ Autism Network’s Fishing for Kids event is a highlight on Nevin’s calendar each year.
