In 1999 Michelle received her CIMA (Certified Investment Management Analyst) designation from the Wharton School of Business. Michelle has served as president of the Manitoba chapter, Investment Dealers Association of Canada and was a Manitoba finalist for the IDA Award of Distinction. She is the past president of the Winnipeg Jazz Orchestra and currently serves on the Winnipeg Humane Society board of directors. Michelle and her husband, Dr. Tom Simpson, enjoy travelling the world and experiencing different cultures. They also spend time at their Lake of the Woods cottage.
Jeremy started in the industry back office with a business administrative degree over 10 years ago. He continued to upgrade his education and finally joined Michelle’s team as an advisor 4 years ago. He has played an invaluable role providing high quality service and advice to high net worth families. When Jeremy and his wife Cassia are not doting on their most precious assets, daughters Caebri & Addison, they are assisting with inner city issues and have been involved with missionary projects. Jeremy is on the board of Grace Point Church. He enjoys playing hockey and golfing when he can find the time.
Trevor owned and operated a small business to pay the bills throughout university. Quickly realizing his passion for entrepreneurship and finance was well suited for a role in wealth management, he joined the investment industry at a competing firm. In 2014, Trevor partnered with Michelle's team as an advisor and is proud to be a part of a top independent wealth management team. Regularly improving his education, he earned the Chartered Investment Manager designation in 2017 in order to serve clients better. A member of the Rotary Club of Winnipeg Downtown, Trevor is the President-Elect for 2017-2018. Avid hockey fans, Trevor and his wife, Rebecca, can be found on the outdoor rink when not cheering on the local teams. In the offseason, they both enjoy spending time outdoors gardening, fishing, and camping.
Passionate about providing excellent client service and wanting to take the next step in her career, Dori left her role at a Canadian bank to join our team at the beginning of 2017. When she’s not in the office, Dori spends time outdoors with her daughter, Chloe, and visits rural Manitoba frequently to see family.
