Jesse Kaufman CAIA®, CIM®, AIFP™, FCSI®,

A Portfolio Manager at The Kaufman Wealth Group of Richardson GMP, Jesse is a graduate of York University, a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA®), Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®), Accredited Investment Fiduciary Professional (AIFP™), and a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI®), He is the Past Chair and Founder of the Richardson GMP Alternative Investment Group and compiled the Richardson GMP AIG Due Diligence Checklist. 

The Kaufman Wealth Group manages wealth for a select number of Canadian families, focused primarily on generating consistent and stable returns, primarily through the use of alternative investments.  For the past two years, Jesse has been named the Top Advisor in Canada for alternative investment expertise at the Wealth Professional Awards, and became the first Advisor appointed to the AIMA Canada Board of Directors.  He is a frequent speaker and writer on the subjects of portfolio construction and alternative investments.

With nearly two decades of experience in wealth management, his areas of expertise and focus are manager research and due diligence, portfolio construction, and client communication. Prior to joining GMP Private Client L.P. (now Richardson GMP Ltd.) in 2006, Jesse worked closely with some of Canada's top tax accountants and estate lawyers, and, before that, he worked at Merrill Lynch Canada and CIBC Asset Management as an Associate Business Consultant to Investment Advisors on portfolio construction and institutional manager selection.

Fluent in Hebrew, Jesse has a working knowledge of French and is a determined golfer, a perennially hopeful Maple Leafs fan and the director of a documentary film.

Farialle Pacha
Associate Investment Advisor

Following the completion of her Honours Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science at Queen’s University, Farialle began her professional career working for a Montreal and Toronto-based Investor Relations firm. Her superior communication skills, passion and ambition led her to excel in her position as an Account Manager, where she managed numerous public companies’ investor relations programs. In early 2015, after developing relationships with Investment Advisors across the United States and Canada, Farialle decided to pursue a career in wealth management by joining Richardson GMP. She has since completed both the Canadian Securities Course (CSC), the Codes and Practice Handbook (CPH), and CSI's Wealth Management Essentials Course (WME). A licensed Advisor, Farialle is also responsible for the internal operations of the The Kaufman Wealth Group; effectively the Chief Operating Officer of the practice. 

In her free time, Farialle participates in a weekly squash league at the Toronto Lawn and Tennis Club, and is an active volunteer and community member of both Women in Capital Markets, an organization dedicated to the development and advancement of women within the financial community, and the Alternative Investment Management Association of Canada, a global organization whose Canadian branch represents the voice of the alternative investments industry within Canada. 

Maureen Glenn, B.A., FLMI, CFP®, TEP, EPC

Vice President, Tax & Estate Planning

Maureen works with Investment Advisory Teams and their affluent clients to navigate the entire wealth planning process; from initial discovery with the client, through to the final presentation. She is a dynamic speaker who can translate complex wealth planning concepts into efficient and effective action plans for clients. This holistic approach combined with her financial planning expertise offers a unique and practical perspective to retirement, trust, and estate planning.

Maureen joined the firm in 2006 and moved to the Tax & Estate Planning team in early 2010. The previous 20 years of her career were focused in the Life and Health Insurance Industry where she gained significant experience as a Financial Services Advisor, Mutual Fund Salesperson and as a product, sales, software and compliance trainer.

Maureen is a Certified Financial Planner® practitioner and is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. She has completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC), the Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) and the Canadian Investment Funds Course (IFIC). She also holds the designation of Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) and other insurance designations from the Life Office Management Association (LOMA).

Jason Middleton

Individual Insurance Consultant

Jason has a well-rounded knowledge of the Insurance industry having worked at all levels of the business. He has worked at the manufacturer level, at the distributor level and, most importantly, as an Independent Insurance Broker and business owner.

Jason’s financial and accounting backgrounds allow him to take a comprehensive approach to advanced Estate and Insurance planning for clients. His ‘educate first’ approach resonates well with clients, who feel that his solution-based recommendations are tailored to their individual needs.

Jason earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with Honors in Accounting and Corporate Finance in 1999 from the University of New Brunswick. He began working on his CA with Deloitte and Touche in 2001 after taking a sabbatical to train and try out for the Canadian Olympic Swim Team. Upon returning to the work force Jason completed the CSC and earned his CFP designation in 2003.
