Neil is the co-founding partner of Gregory | Wei Wealth Counsel, a full service wealth management team focused on providing pro-active and timely solutions to high net worth families and professionals. Prior to joining Richardson GMP Ltd in 2009, he was an Investment Advisor at a private boutique firm Wellington West (2004-2009). Neil started his career with TD Canada Trust in various roles his last being Manager, Private Banking in TD’s Private Client Group in Calgary.
Over the past 20 years, Neil has focused his attention on the importance of creating a solid foundation of shared values, integrity, and fostering strong personal relationships with our clients. He takes great pride in helping clients define what is important to them and to help them achieve their goals through a conservative valued-oriented investment style that is both consistent and measurable.
Neil earned his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary in 1998 and shortly after attained his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder in 2001.
Equally important to Neil is his impact on a number of children and social welfare causes. As a Director of the Missing Children Society of Canada (MCSC). MCSC leverages new technology to help prevent the abduction of missing children and to locate those missing, support programs to help families as they deal with the loss of a child, and employs investigators to search for missing children.
For more than a decade, Neil has been a Director on the Foundation Board of Wood’s Homes, a nationally recognized, not-for-profit agency works with more than 20,000 at-risk children, youth and families every year from across Canada. Neil has helped raise millions of dollars to support their children’s mental health initiatives.
Neil loves to teach so in his spare time he volunteers as a baseball, hockey and basketball coach.
